The Short Answer

Contact PIP Back Pay Calculator UK by email for corrections, questions about our content, and feedback on the calculators. We cannot see or discuss your PIP claim; only the DWP can. For anything about your own claim, use the official numbers below: 0800 917 2222 for new claims and 0800 121 4433 for existing ones.

What to Contact Us About

Email reaches the editorial team directly at [email protected]. Three kinds of message get the fastest responses. Corrections come first: a figure, date or phone number that looks wrong, with the page it appears on. Questions about our content come second, such as how a calculator reaches its estimate; the method notes beneath each tool answer most of these already. Feedback on the tools comes third, especially where a scenario you needed was missing when you tried to work out your pip back pay.

We read everything, prioritise corrections, and update the affected page's Last checked stamp whenever a report leads to a change, as the Editorial and Fact-Checking Policy sets out.

What We Cannot Help With

We cannot access, discuss or influence any PIP claim, because we are not the DWP and hold no claim data. Nothing you send us reaches a decision maker. Messages about an individual claim can only receive one honest answer: contact the DWP or an adviser, using the routes below.

Every DWP line, including Relay UK and from-abroad routes, is listed with hours on PIP Contact Numbers. Choosing the right route first saves days: the DWP can act on your claim and we cannot, while we can fix this site's content and the DWP will not.

What Happens to Your Message

Emails are used only to answer you and to fix what you reported. Do not include your National Insurance number, claim details or medical information; we do not need them and would rather not hold them. The calculators themselves send us nothing: everything you enter into a tool stays in your browser.

Response times reflect the priority order above: corrections first, content questions next, general feedback after that. A correction that survives checking changes the page and its Last checked stamp; one that does not still gets a reply explaining what the source says. We do not send newsletters, add addresses to lists, or share correspondence with anyone.

A message that asks for advice about a claim receives the referral answer above rather than advice, however detailed the situation described. That boundary protects you as much as us: an adviser who can read your actual paperwork, starting with Citizens Advice, gives answers this site is not qualified to give and was never designed to give. What we can promise is that the general information the advisers work against, the rates, rules and timescales on these pages, stays checked and dated.

Corrections make this site better for the next reader, and reporting one takes a minute; the thanks is a fixed page with a fresh date on it.
